Take the scenic drive to ʻUlupalakua Ranch and MauiWine; you’ll be glad you did. The paved, pastoral road meanders along the southern slopes of Haleakala volcano with sweeping views of the ocean, Lanai, Kaho‘olawe, Molokini crater, and the West Maui Mountains. Here in Upcountry, the pace is dialed back and everything is breathtakingly beautiful. Rolling hills of green frame Plantation-style homes, herds of sheep and cattle, and snaking lava rock walls.

Arrive at MauiWine and step onto the King’s Cottage lanai, built during the 1870s to accommodate King Kalākaua, the last reigning king of Hawai’i. The King’s Cottage now serves as our tasting room, and the heart of MauiWine. Settle in with a glass and unwind as you breathe in the crisp mountain air, and stare out at the towering trees that have greeted honored guests for more than 150 years.

We feature wines under the Ulupalakua Vineyards label, cultivated in our vineyard, just 1 mile down the road. We also specialize in traditional-method sparkling wines and wines made from 100% Maui Gold pineapples. Enjoy tasting flights, wines by the glass, wine cocktails, and light fare that can be ordered as desired. Relaxation and merriment are encouraged.
We offer seated service only and reservations are highly recommended.
